Plan International is working alongside communities in Niger facing food insecurity to help strengthen their resilience and adapt to the changing climate. We have restocked cereal stores, distributed hardy red goats and millet seeds to farmers and encouraged communities to set up market gardens.
"With the improved millet seeds from the project and seeing the state of my field right now, I have hope to have a very good harvest this year," says Zeyni Andou, a woman in her sixties who recently received goats and millet seed from Plan International.
