Caption
The world is in the midst of a devastating food crisis. Across the globe, in countries such as Mali, 22-year-old Aissata’s village in central Mali have experienced food crises many times. Most of the children in the community experience malnutrition as the financial difficulties faced by their families make it impossible for them to meet their children’s basic needs.
The Hungriest Places on Earth is a creative comms project showcasing individual girls’ voices from corners of the world directly affected by the hunger crisis. By taking stories from each country affected by hunger, we present a globalised view of the hunger crisis across all regions of the world, as well as showing how Plan International is responding.
