The world is in the midst of a devastating food crisis. Across the globe, in countries such as Mozambique, 11-year-old Amina says finding food is a daily struggle. Despite this, Amina still makes sure she goes to school every day. “I wake up at 5am to walk to school. I study for four hours and I come every day. I do not have breakfast so sometimes I get very tired. When I finish school I want to become a teacher."
The Hungriest Places on Earth is a creative comms project showcasing individual girls’ voices from corners of the world directly affected by the hunger crisis. By taking stories from each country affected by hunger, we present a globalised view of the hunger crisis across all regions of the world, as well as showing how Plan International is responding.
